What an awesome week!

My new 17" i7 Macbook Pro shows up this week. It's gonna be crazy fast compared to what I was used to.

What a crap week...

My trusty sidekick 2.3Ghz PowerMac G5 had a processor go on me. That's pretty much a bullet in a head for any computer. But since it's a dual-cpu model I was able to swap positions with the other good CPU and disable the bad one. So, while crippled, I'm not needing to break the bank with a new computer purchase yet.

"Improving (n)"...

I think in order to start keeping my skills fresh and making myself create new work I'm gonna try something. I'll find some product, be it hardware or software, and try to mock-up a minor improvement to it. Something to give it more polish or a better user experience.
